Spiritual Direction Philosophy:
Each of our connections to the sacred is as natural as breathing. Through spiritual direction, a seeker aligns their breath to the ruah, the breath of the spirit. Through this alignment, all aspects of their life twine to become their spiritual journey.
My approach spiritual direction is contemplative: all aspects of the seeker’s life is part of their spiritual journey. Through spiritual direction, their connection to spirit manifests in the whole of their life. Though silence, reflection, gentle query, and curious wondering, I bear witness and am a compassionate presence for the seeker. It is through my connection to the sacred, the third chair, that I become a conduit who companions a seeker as they gain clarity and connect more fully to their sacred. I invite a seeker to listen to their inner wisdom for they are the true guide of their spiritual journey.
Mindfulness and intuition are two important tools that I incorporate in spiritual direction session. Through focused quiet and intentionally listening, the seeker calls forth their inner wisdom. The seeker knows the path of their spirit, I provide the sacred, safe space for them to name and grow into their wisdom.
Spiritual direction, mentoring, companioning is a gentle holding of space and a lifting up of the seeker in ways that connect them more deeply to their sacred.
