| Currently, I am leading "Living by Heart" workshops for UUMA Chapters as part of the Center Presenter program. This program includes a video of Harry Scholefield (for almost 25 years the Sr. Minister at First Unitarian Church, San Francisco, and after that Adjunct Professor at Starr King) talking with me about his 'devotional practice', which includes but is not limited to memorizing poetry (learning it by heart) as a daily practice. The video was released in 1996 and the workbook to accompany it was written in 2003. (It is in twelve chapters, and works well as a monthly small group practice, or for individuals and "practice partners".) They are $10 for the workbook, and $20 for the video plus mailing.
