Spiritual Direction Practice (Affiliated with Bethany House of Prayer, Arlington): The focus of my spiritual direction practice is the directee's search – for relationship with a self-giving God, for an authentic language of reverence, for a spiritual practice that feels true. My role as spiritual companion is to attend with you to the movement of Spirit in your life, to reflect your heart’s longings, and to witness the deepening call of your faith. An essentially contemplative practice, spiritual direction springs from your desire for a life that reckons honestly with the consequences of God’s invitation to love.
I am a longtime Unitarian Universalist, teacher, collaborating artist, and poet. In addition to companioning others in spiritual direction, I work with both individuals and groups in the exploration of art and poem-making as prayer practices.
