Description:Practices for a meaning centered life - Unitarian Universalist Spiritual Direction of individuals, life partners, communities. Through her outreach ministry to Uu communities at the congregational, district and denominational levels, Rev. Cat has presented classes, worship services, retreats and workshops extensively through the PCD and beyond, offering guidance and tools for the development of vibrant, socially relevant Uu congregations in this world and this age. Her approach to this work is holistic and multi-fceted. Drawing on the identity and values of our rich Unitarian and Universalist heritage, current psychological and ethical paradigms of human development, as well as cross cultural wisdom traditions and world religions. Her ministry is grounded in the belief that, for both individuals and communities, the center point for healthy growth is found by following the thread of connection between our own deepest longings on the one hand and the hungers of the world on the other. This process of discovery opens us to creating joyful, meaning centered lives which offer our best gifts in service to the world.
